Yesterday, a passionate group of us embarked on a journey to pave the way for establishing a dedicated Landcare group in Nimbin.
Andre, Rain (from Nimbin Community Centre), Hannah and Emily trekked along the Rainbow Road Walking Track, exploring the lush surroundings and laying the groundwork for our community initiative.
Hannah and Emily, hailing from Lismore City Council and the Richmond Landcare Inc, brought a wealth of knowledge in regeneration and bush vegetation to our discussion. As we wandered through the verdant trails, we shared ideas on how to nurture and enhance the natural beauty of the area.
We are still in the infant stages of our project, but our vision is clear. We aim to align our efforts with the existing flora along the track, fostering its growth and resilience.
